Contemporary education in schools and its active shaping and further development is the basis of our modern society. There is hardly any other area of our society which, through its focus, sets more significant impulses for our coexistence – not only for pupils or ourselves, but also for future generations. For the future of our society, the extent to which pupils’ potential and talents can be identified and promoted at an early stage, for example through the development of multimedia and computer skills, plays a key role. Media competence in general enables participation in a modern life, both in terms of unfolding one’s own individual potential or career prospects, and in developing one’s maturity in a digital society. This is to be ensured by the “DigitalPakt Schule” of the Federal and the State Government.
