CANCOM UK and CANCOM, Collaboration and Communications opened their new joint headquarters in the heart of London’s Shoreditch on 23 July 2019. The new UK hub is based in the Silicon Roundabout area of East London, fast becoming known as Europe’s answer to Silicon Valley and offers perfect modern working conditions for more than one hundred employees.
Thomas Volk, CEO of CANCOM SE and CANCOM’s founder Klaus Weinmann will officially open the new London headquarters at the launch on the 23rd July. The new hub brings together two of CANCOM’s most recent UK acquisitions; CANCOM UK, formerly OCSL and CANCOM, Communication and Collaboration, formerly Ocean Intelligent Communications. As part of its internationalisation strategy, CANCOM has been successfully working on a substantial market presence in the UK since 2018.
“Unifying these two important arms of our business is an exciting step forward”, commented Martin Hess, Managing Director of CANCOM. “It brings the CANCOM family even closer together, allowing us to offer joined up solutions across, networking, infrastructure and software.”
Thomas Volk, CEO, CANCOM SE highlighted the role the London office plays as an additional skills hub in Europe: “We are continually investing in the skills and knowledge that are rarely found in-house to provide incremental value to our clients.”
The new offices boast state-of-the art wireless video conferencing, plus its own in-house Network and Security operations centres in a 17,000 square foot statement building. The new London hub has been designed to be modern collaborative workspace for clients and more than 100 employees with access to its own 754 square foot sky garden and roof terrace. Located just a few minutes’ away from the City in London, the new headquarters offer modern workspace supporting hot desk style working for the employees.
