Color Rates
4A (AAAA) Standard Colors (red, blue, green, yellow)

A. Rates earned based on number of insertions within a 12-month period from the date of the first insertion. Each page or fractional page counts as an insertion, as do units within a multiple-page advertisement. Two-page spread counts as two insertions toward fulfillment of a contract.
B. Bleed: No charge.
C. Cover Rates: Contact publisher for rates and availability. Sold on schedules only.
D. Combo Rates: Substantial savings can be realized on basic rates when ads are also placed in other Canon publications. Contact account executive for details.
E. Preferred Positions: Earned rate plus $285. Contact publisher for availability of such positions.

G. Classified Advertising Rates: Line classifieds are available at a rate of $5 per word, with a 50-word minimum. Classified display ads are available at a rate of $275 per inch, 1" minimum, 4" maximum depth, and must be exactly 2 3/16" wide. Camera-ready art must be supplied for classified display ads. Frequency discounts available. Medical Product Manufacturing News classified advertising appears in every issue of publication. Closing date for order and materials is the 15th of the second month preceding publication. Classifieds are not commissionable. Recruitment display ads are available and follow the same mechanical and rate specifications as regular display advertising.
H. Closing Dates: All space orders and materials are due on the 15th of the second month preceding issue. Cancellations are not accepted after closing.
I. Commissions:
a. Agency commission 15%, if paid in full within 30 days.
b. Invoices are due and payable upon receipt. No commission allowed on production charges by publisher.
c. All accounts past 30 days will be assessed a monthly service charge of 1 1/2% of the unpaid balance.

MPMN Classified Rates
Classified display ads start at just $295 per inch. Minimum depth is 1"; maximum classified display depth is 4". Half-inch increments are available. Frequency discounts on classified ads allow you to maximize your ad dollars.

3x.........................5% discount
6x.......................10% discount
12x......................20% discount

Color
Add blue for $60 per insertion.

Classified Ad Specs:
All ads must be exactly 2 3/16" wide. Depth: Minimum: 1"; Maximum: 4".

Production Services
Your ad can be designed to include elements such as special rules, borders, display type, or your company logo—eye-catching details—all for only $30 per inch.

MPMN Line Ad Rates
$5.00 per word. There is a 50-word minimum. The first few words are in boldface with the rest of the ad in paragraph form. No graphics or special type may be used in line ads.

Frequency Discounts
Classified and line ads are eligible for frequency discounts. Frequency discounts may be combined with MD&DI and MPMN as well as other Canon publications.
