A Profitable Market for Suppliers!
Medical electronics creates a sizable amount of revenue for many companies. More than 20% of the suppliers in a recent survey of industry professionals currently do $1 million to $5 million worth of business in the medical electronics industry annually. Adding those who have an annual sales range of $5 million to more than $10 million indicates that nearly 30% of the companies report more than $1 million in sales to the industry.
Of the companies surveyed, a significant numbernearly 60%plan to increase their business to the medical electronics industry between 11 and 30%, and another 10% project growth between 31 and 50%.
The medical marketplace is providing a lucrative alternative avenue for suppliers such as embedded systems developers who have maximized sales in more-traditional consumer markets.
