Hamilton OEM's 60-mm syringe drive pump accepts a variety of syringe sizes, up to 25 ml. The switch-and-go pump incorporates an eight-port ceramic valve and runs on a dc stepper motor. It includes both logic and driver boards. Performing all liquid-handling operations, the pump operates on 24 V dc and can be used as a single unit or connected together in series from a single serial port to form a bank of up to 16 modules.
